2 years post-op from a TT and lipo - why does my TT look like this? (photo)

Question

I an 2 years post op from a TT. I had lipo a year later to see if that would get my belly flat. It did not work. My surgeon says my muscle repair is intact and has no explanation. It is depressing to see my stomach this way. Please let me know what you guys think is going on here

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

It's difficult to assess your results from this limited photo.  It would be helpful to see your before/after photos if you have them.  If you are uncomfortable with your results you may want to seek a second opinion from another board certified plastic surgeon near you.

I suggest posting using your before and after pictures. If you don’t have them ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took.

Show standard pictures taken from the front and the side by someone else or using the timer of your camera from about 8 feet away standing in a neutral position.

A bulging abdomen after a tummy tuck typically represents excess visceral fat or less than ideal muscle tightening.

Excess visceral fat is typically present on the before pictures and is predictable. It typically cost is bulging of the upper abdomen after a tummy tuck especially after a couple of years.

Alternatively get a couple of in person consultations with other local board-certified plastic surgeons.
