What is the best treatment for prolonged swelling over 1yr after a revision facelift?

I'm over 1 yr out from a 3rd facelift, a revision done as a deep plane to fix 2 prior botched SMAS. All w/in 3 yrs. My lower face and the skin in front of tragus is stil elevated, puffy and swollen 13 mos out earlobes look pulled down, sewn onto cheeks and submerged into them. Dr. says its prolonged healing from multiple facelifts. Is there a treatment to speed this up? I've only seen minimal progress 13 mos and I feel hideous. My dr. says use compresses and needs more time. What else can I do?
