A downturned smile or permanent frown can be improved with a combination approach, including neuromodulators (such as Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau), injectable fillers, and radiofrequency skin tightening treatments such as Thermage or Venus Legacy. You would benefit from a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.

Based on these photos, it may be a small lip asymmterty on one side of upper lip, when smiling. If that realy bothres you, you should have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon and discuss benefits and shortcomings of conservative lip reduction on that site. Good luck.

At least from the photo, there appears to be visible asymmetry of the face, with the left side of the face appears to have volume deficit as opposed to the more full right side. Just as your finger pressing upward helps to improve this, the appropriate addition of a volumizing HA filler in the proper portion of the cheek would help to achieve the lift desired, as well as of course diminishing the volume discrepancy between the left and right side responsible for this problem. Make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Treatment should take only about ten or fifteen minutes and the results are typically immediate. Best of luck.
