Female age 51. Don’t want fillers, want a more permanent solution to shorten the area between lower lip and chin and upper lip and Philtrum. Hate excess skin underneath lower lip. Makes my face look longer.

The upper lip is a great area to have a lip lift to decrease the white lip area. The lower lip is not a good site for surgery due to scarring along the lip border

An upper lip lift can be done. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. In terms of the lower lip, you may consider a mandible reduction.
