I am planning to have a rhinoplasty very soon, hopefully within the next couple of months. I notice now that part of my unhappiness with my face not only involves my nose, but a long philtrum as well. Few questions: will rhinoplasty make my Philtrum look even longer? Can they be done at the same time? Which type of lip lift should I receive? What is average cost? Apologize for such a full list of questions, I am seeking the best possible course of action!

Good Afternoon! That's a difficult situation. A rhinoplasty, if the nose is tenting the upper lip, can help. By shortening the length of the nose, it often relaxes the upper lip and creates more show. Adding volume carefully to the red lip may create more balance. This can be done with fillers...
A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You would be a candidate for a lip lift.
