Should my nose bridge be higher? (Photo)

Based off your solo photo - the views are limited along with full analysis of your nose is limited. But from your side profile, there is a good amount of dorsum from your midface, a little depressed tip which maybe would add more to your side profile by adding to the tip and changing the angle of your tip point from a little going down to a slightly upward point. (But without other angles of your nose, it's hard to assess). Try submitting other views or sending in photos to a few surgeons or in person - to fully get your nose evaluated for a more accurate surgical plan.

Based on your photo, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. While the bridge could be raised a little, it's not mandatory. This can be better assessed during a consultation that utilizes computer imaging to see how you may look afterwards. The tip could be better defined and projected as well. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

While there are "ideal" proportions and ratios that people will often reference when analyzing the nose, at the end of the day, what is most important is what YOU want for your nose. It is not an uncommon request that some patients would like to build their bridge to be taller/higher or start further up on their face, however the degree of which varies for every patient. Ultimately, your best bet to see if you would benefit from this type of procedure would be scheduling a consult with a rhinoplasty surgeon who can perform computer simulations to show you how these changes would fit your unique face.

"should" is in the eye of the beholder. Do you want it to be higher? Proportionally, it looks fine for your face right now as it is.

Major issue with your nose seem to be tip position and shape; that is the dominant feature that can be seen from this single photo. Correction and elevation of the tip in some patients may create quite an improvement. However, only on the basis of in person evaluation, an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon could give you more detailed plan of treatment. Good luck.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a rhinoplasty. A surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Fascial grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. I don’t think you necessarily need to add dorsal height with a dorsal augmentation for your nose. Adding some projection to your tip would be helpful. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
