Persistent internal scar tissue (16 months) after rhino - minimal response to Kenalog and recurrence after excision. Options?
Hi, I’m looking for professional insight and long-term experiences with persistent internal scar tissue after rhinoplasty. I trust my surgeon and I’m happy with the structural/functional result. This seems to be an unusually strong scar response, not a surgical error. 16 months ago I had a closed preservation rhinoplasty. My nose/septum were very crooked, so significant internal reconstruction was required. Almost immediately I developed firm internal scar tissue. Had some Kenalog injections with minimal effect and it was also surgically excised but regrew to similar thickness. Does anyone have good experiences with alternatives to Kenalog?
