Actually, I would warn you against using anything with microneedling - 24h before and after (!!!) - the exclusion is the soothing gel that is included in the microneedling kit). Most side effects happening after microneedling are attributed to the products that are used after the procedure. The needles create channels that are opened and the product may potentially cause allergic reactions or, what is even worse - granuloma formation. This controllable injury during microneedling stimulates the skin to regenerate and this is the key to the procedure. All "adds on" are usually added by the clinic to get the financial benefit from the client. PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is usually safe to use because it is derived from your own blood, but there is no scientific benefit to adding it. "Swiss apple stem cells" is a myth, unfortunately, otherwise everyone would be glowing as apples.... I hope that helps! Be sure to select a licensed provider who uses an FDA-cleared device!
