Does narrowing nasal bones with osteotomy affect breathing? Also does raising a the tip of nose help breathing?

Hi Gorgeous352097,To answer your questions:1) Narrowing nasal bones with osteotomy will not effect breathing. When I perform a rhinoplasty, I make sure the septum is straight, nasal valves are patent and optimize nasal breathing. Performing osteotomies will not compromise your breathing.2) Raising the tip of the nose opens the external nasal valves. By doing this maneuver, your breathing is improved.
