I had both a functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty. Function-wise, it's a huge success. Cosmetic-wise, I would have been so happy, its what I hoped for- except I've gained this new big bump near my eye on the side bridge of my nose. My surgeon is great, I'm just the unlucky one to have something not go well. My surgeon says it is the natural shape of my nose, nothing changed there, it just is more prominent now that the nose is narrowed and maybe ear cartilage can smooth it. I'm so bummed.

I would wait at least 16 to 18 months before contemplating a revision surgery on the nasal tip. I would also go back and discuss with your surgeon whether any tip surgery was done or not. If no tip surgery was done, the tip should go back to its original position with time.
