I have previously had lipo 6 years ago and thought the doctor was far too conservative and there was very minimal difference, he basically improved subtle contouring but left my legs still looking stocky. I am very pear shaped, at my healthiest, lightest weight, and very frustrated with how much stockier my legs are compared to my very skinny upper body. My legs are naturally muscular, but there is also plenty of fat in them. Can anything actually be done to make my figure less pear shaped?

Answer: Liposuction Options OK, first off your photos do not demonstrate that you are classic pear shaped, give yourself some credit! You appear fit and more revealing photos of your legs are needed in order to answer your questions with more detail. Generally speaking, traditional liposuction utilizing small cannulas, micro liposuction, appears to be a reasonable option for you if there is extraneous fat in your legs. Extreme care and expertise is needed in someone like yourself with muscular legs and only modest fat circumferentially because overly aggressive treatment can cause skin irregularities and dents which can be hard to correct. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in our area to greatly increase your chances of the best possible result. Virtual consultations are certainly an option during a lockdown.Good luck.

Answer: Secondary liposuction Photos without the leggings would be helpful. The concern in repeat liposuction of scar formation is always an issue. The disproportion of the thighs is not evident in the photos shared. If you are muscular in the legs, liposuction can not reduce the impact of this but would address excess fat, if any.
