I've been thinking about a lip lift because I don't show much of my upper teeth when I talk or smile. But I'm concerned that in the end it won't actually help because maybe it's a larger facial structure issue. I've noticed some aging celebrities whose upper lips have lengthened noticeably, but their teeth are still visible. Plus, I don't want to change the size or shape of my lip. So I'm wondering if I should nix this idea or look for another way. Thanks.

Great job on the DM control! There is no contraindication for a lip lift based on your A1C. Please seek out a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience with lip lifts. I generally perform them under local anesthesia in the office.
