Will a lip lift change the shape/ length of lip? (Photo)

I do not use fillers. I am happy with the volume of my lips and distance between nose and lipHowever I have a heavy upper lip and it looks awkward and gives me an asymmetric closed smile. Would a lip lift help improve the shape ie length of lip? I feel like my upper lip needs to be longer ie lifted vertically not horizontally for an aesthetic smile. Is this possible with a lip lift or any other procedure you would recommend?

They are called steristrips. you can probably get them from your surgeon's office or see if they can be ordered online.
