Will a lift with small implant give lasting results? (Photo)

my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

A lift combined with an implant can be used to restore shape and contour to the breast. Combining an implant with the lift is the best way to create upper pole fullness, or a round shape to the breast. Some stretch marks below the nipple can be removed with the skin removed during a breast lift. Stretch marks above the nipple will not be removed during a breast lift surgery, but the contour of loose crepey skin on the upper portion of the breast will be smoothed when the skin is rewrapped with a lift.

The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired.

Thank you for your question and posting appropriate pictures. You are a very good candidate for lift as well as augmentation with small implants. It seems that you have good breast volume. It is best to have a consultation and undergo Vectra 3-D imaging to visualize your proposed outcome with different size and shape implants.

Kaylaann I appreciate your concerns and frustration. It appears from your photos that you would benefit from a breast lift and small implants to achieve your desired goals. Find a plastic surgeon you like to be seen in person and examined for your concerns. It's a little hard to tell where your nipple is relative to your fold just on your pictures and therefore how much of a lift you need. Implants are generally the best option for adding upper pole fullness and central projection, and a small implant with a lift is a great combination for many patients. Best of luck!

Yes, a lift with small implants would look nice as your nipples are lifted and your skin is tighter and you have more upper breast fullness.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, I note a moderate degree of breast asymmetry, there is loss of superior pole breast volume, and a moderate amount of stretch marks. The nipples reside at different "altitudes" on the chest wall. The smaller right breast demonstrates minimal sag with the nipple above the fold at the bottom of the breasts. The larger left breast demonstrates moderate sag with the nipple at the level of the fold.Stretch marks indicate the presence of permanently damaged overstretched skin usually occurring during pregnancy or significant weight fluctuation where when pregnant or overweight, the skin's dermal elastic fibers rupture from stretch, resulting in the loss of elasticity and the development of streaks on the skin surface. The skin will stretch over a greater surface area and will predispose to further sagging. Therefore a smaller implant with less weight will have less tendency to stretch the skin further. You appear to be a candidate for differential fill breast augmentation (with relatively small implants) and mastopexy.Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.Best wishes...
