How many lifetime grafts do I have in my donor area? (Photo)

Hello and thank you for your question. The amount of grafts differs per person and It's tough for me to say how many by looking at a photo. I will say that you only have so many and you are 29 years old so you need to be careful about using too many too early in life. Actually a healthy and noırmal density scalp donor area may gave approx. 10.000 grafts and surgeon shouls leave at least 5000 nof them in order to not create a alopecic patchy area on donor site .. so you probably had 3500 grafts or little more for a second session in future .

I think the best answer for that question, is how many grafts can someone harvest which that could be a very high number or could be how many can someone harvest with out affecting your scalp density and trying to not leave evidence that you had a surgery there, usually we have from 3500 to 5000 grafts to donor or could be more but in different procedures, I suggest you wait for final results, check if there is a treatment to stop the hair loss so you won’t need another transplant in the future, and also you can get SMP scalp micropigmentacion to cover the white dots from donor area if that bothers you or just leave the hair enough long to cover them
