I️ suffer from Hyperhydrosis. I’m looking for a place that could possibly take my insurance for the Mira Dry Procedure?

I’m 23 years old have been suffering for years and I’m tired of hiding my underarms, ruining clothes and it affecting relationships I️ have with people due to my insecurity. It’s time to put a stop to the suffering. My current insurance policy is Blue Cross Blue Shield (In net) and 1199 SIEU Insurance. I️ suffer from overly excessive underarm sweating. I️’m currently looking for a place in NY or anywhere that could possibly lower the cost for this procedure.

Depending on how sensitive your underarms are feeling, I would recommend waiting 5-7 days after treatment before shaving!  Be careful shaving, as the underarm may be lumpy from swelling! Best Wishes,

I've narrowed it down to 3 needle sticks per axillae.  From these 3 needles sticks, the whole armpit is tumesced (numbed).  I have posted a video of it being performed.  Hope that helps

Thanks for your question. Soon after MiraDry, an increase in odor can occur temporarily. It is safe to use a spray deodorant after 72 hours. If you continue to be concerned please have an evaluation with your treating physician.Good luck. Dr. ALDO
