I️ suffer from Hyperhydrosis. I’m looking for a place that could possibly take my insurance for the Mira Dry Procedure?

I’m 23 years old have been suffering for years and I’m tired of hiding my underarms, ruining clothes and it affecting relationships I️ have with people due to my insecurity. It’s time to put a stop to the suffering. My current insurance policy is Blue Cross Blue Shield (In net) and 1199 SIEU Insurance. I️ suffer from overly excessive underarm sweating. I️’m currently looking for a place in NY or anywhere that could possibly lower the cost for this procedure.

At this time, unfortunately miraDry is not covered by insurance anywhere, even though you know you suffer from hyperhydrosis. It is a wonderful treatment, so I hope that doesn't discourage you from finding a way to get it done. Many miraDry providers will offer some sort of financing options for the treatment. We offer CareCredit here, and our patients can get miraDry for as little as $110/month. For something that is permanent, it would be worth saving up for!

Unfortunately, miraDry is not covered by any insurance. However, there are Dermatologists who perform this procedure across the nation. Often, we have monthly or event specials - so you can inquire about those with the practice. There are other alternatives such as Obrexza wipes, which are available by prescription and typically covered by insurance.
