Is Embrace Active Scar Defense better than Mepitac silicone tape for reducing tension on an areola incision?

I prefer dynamic scar treatments with Plato's Scar Serum vs. static treatments such as Embrace. Scars need to be modulated and static therapy can only do so much. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles

Hello LizandCo_shared!I believe Embrace Scar Prevention works the best on breasts.  Embrace produces a significant reduction in the tension at the wound. Tension reduction it produces will change the way the patient's DNA is expressed. Genes that create inflammation and fibrotic scarring are turned off and genes creating a more uniformed scar are turned on.  Please view my before and after photos using this product for a better idea of how it works.
