I had a scar revision on my collarbone 7 weeks ago. I started using Embrace after 2 weeks when my stitches and bandage was removed. Im on week 5 right now with the Embrace. I am very happy with the progress. My question is can I or should I use Embrace longer than the recommended 6-8 weeks, and if so for how long?
I had laparoscopic abdominal surgery 8 wks ago. I asked my doctor about silicone & he said there's zero evidence it works. He said do nothing, but I feel like there must be something I can do. Is silicone proven to help with scars? Would shapewear/compression help? Is taking collagen good or a bad? What are my options if it doesn't heal well? I feel self-conscious about the wound in the center that makes it looks like I have two belly buttons
I had my embrace done Friday August 22 and on Saturday morning I noticed some air bubbles, it also looks like where the air bubbles are it created an air space for steam to build up.. I also noticed that the incision had spread apart. Can someone help me out here.
Is there another way to lesson tension? Even if it's not the prettiest looking setup. I'm also undecided for silicone gels. I've seen great results with biocorneuum. I'm currently using skin medica's scar recovery gel.
Will Embrace therapy still be effective if it was not started until 3 months post op for scars that have become raised? Or should they have been used earlier?? The scars around nipple and under breast are dark and starting to become raised. Anything else that can be done. Have been using scar cream compound tip now. Thanks in advance.
If I get Embrace after TT, can I use them all over from hip to hip or just for the middle section? I know there expensive, but Im more concerned with how my scar on my hips are going to look than anything. Thank you
I had a pretty bad reaction to embrace scar therapy. It took some skin off my areola and I was left with pretty nasty blisters. One breast is totally fine, the other one pretty messed up. Do you think this will make my healing scars worse now? Or leave a worse long term scar?
