I had BBL done 5 years ago. The result was quite nice however I noticed my sagging bottom buttock area needs more volume. Can this be achieved by BBL?
Answer: My Recomendation Dear hanna19, thanks for sharing your case, you should get in touch with your surgeon and talk about this , from there you will discuss with him or her about possibilities in this and how to achieve your goal. Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Hope this helps and best of lucks! Dr. Luis Mejia.

Answer: Treatment for “sagging lower buttock area?” Buttock “sagging” is usually a combination of loss of volume or deflation and/or the effect of aging and gravity. So, I personally first treat patients like you by restoring volume to the buttock with a buttock implant. BBL fat tends to survive quite poorly in this lower buttock area so it is not a good option. This will create a more desirable smooth and rounded perky buttock profile. If not adding volume with an implant, the buttock will be shortened but may appear more flat with just a buttock lift. A lower buttock tuck is usually then performed at six months following implants. In this sequence, the implants have fully settled into final position so that any remaining loose skin can be most accurately identified and removed with the lower buttock tuck. Please note, because an extremely few number of board certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock implants, you may have to travel away from your local area to seek consultation with this particular type of surgeon. Glad to help.

Answer: BBL candidate Dear hanna19, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Filling the lower buttock or a buttock tuck What you need is a buttock tuck to tighten and lift the buttock cheek up. Just adding more volume to your lower buttock will result in further sagging of the lower buttock cheek onto the posterior thighs and cause more creases up there. Please consider a virtual consultation from a high definition BBL expert.

Answer: Lower buttocks augmentation Often when the lower buttocks are less than ideal it often represents some skin laxity issue. It’s important to point out exactly what part of your buttocks you were concerned about. The inner, mid thigh or lateral part of the buttocks are three different zones that behave quite differently to different treatment modalities. Did you have liposuction of your upper thigh as part of the BBL? I’ve seen plenty of surgeons do that with results that I think are less than ideal. With that knowing more specifically what your concerns or what you’re trying to achieve it’s a little hard to make an assessment or give recommendations. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
