I previously had ultherapy done and loved my results. Due to having a baby 3 months ago, I was unable to travel to my regular clinic and had ultheraly done at a local office. I aged overnight ! Please help me - what can be done to save my face - I am devastated. The shape of my face changed dramatically from round to square. I look sunken in. I am finding it incredibly difficult to cope as I am taking care of the baby. Please suggest procedures that can be used to restore face back to normal
Answer: Result longevity: things you should know Thank you for posting your question and photos. On average, results from Ultherapy last for about one year. A combination approach of Botox and dermal fillers can help to achieve a natural lift, but the results from injectables are temporary as well. They must be readministered on an ongoing basis to maintain the desired results. If you are interested in a more long-term solution, you may consider a classic facelift procedure to improve skin elasticity, lift fallen tissue, and define the overall face shape. I recommend that you schedule an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can assess your needs on a more individual basis.

Answer: Aged overnight 10 years after Ultherapy. What can be done to save my face? Hello @Jubilant448564, thank you for your question. High-tech non-surgical treatments improve some aspects and help to control the signs of aging. You can create a treatment plan along with the specialist in which I advise you to take into account the procedures and processes already performed. For more information and recommendations, it is best to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.

Answer: Good question! I am not a fan of ultherapy personally, but it probably didn't cause rapid facial aging. It is totally normal to lose volume in the face with age, and sometimes we see that speed up around pregnancy/childbirth/breastfeeding. Just to point out, you are also smiling in the first three photos and not in the next three, which makes your cheeks appear fuller and your jowls appear less! That all being said, yes there are definitely things do to to help. You should be seen in person and evaluated to develop the best plan, but either fillers or fat grafting, radiofrequency skin tightening, or potentially a facelift are all on the table. Best of luck!

Answer: Ultherapy Aging Face Hi there! Sorry to hear about your recent experience with Ultherapy. For asymmetries, the options go from minimally invasive such as fillers and fat transfer to create volume to threading and invasive options like facelifts. Sometimes, we will employ treatments like Morpheus8 to improve contour and collagen strength, though the results may not be substantial. Then, we may proceed to more invasive options (more risky) with the understanding that we may not create perfect symmetry. I would consult with a facial plastic surgeon to determine which option would provide the best results, safely, and with minimal downtime.

Answer: Post Ultherapy Personally, I have never been a fan of this modality. It accomplishes very little. That said, it should not have caused “overnight aging”. If the final photo is a good indicator, you would benefit from a Threadlift with or without some filler. Best wishes.
