At 43, I haven't had any cosmetic procedures yet. I'm finally noticing signs of aging all over my face. However, the eyes are most apparent. My upper lids are becoming more hooded. I have several crow's feet and my under eye area is becoming hollowed. Would botox, threads and/or filler help this situation? Or should I just jump all the way to a brow lift and blepharoplasty? Thanks in advance for any help that you can give.
Answer: Addressing signs of the aging Botox, threads, and fillers can all be effective in addressing some of the signs of aging around the eyes, but it depends on the specific concerns and the severity of the issue. Botox can be used to smooth out crow's feet and other fine lines around the eyes. Threads can help to lift sagging skin and stimulate collagen production in the area. Fillers can be used to plump up hollowed under-eye areas, smooth out wrinkles and creases, and restore lost volume. However, if you have significant hooding of the upper eyelids, a brow lift and/or blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) may be more appropriate. A brow lift can help to elevate the eyebrows and reduce hooding of the upper lids, while a blepharoplasty can address excess skin, fat, and muscle in the upper and/or lower eyelids. Ultimately, the best course of action will depend on your individual concerns and goals, as well as your overall health and medical history. It may be helpful to schedule a consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon or aesthetic practitioner to discuss your options and determine the best approach for you. They can also help you to decide whether to start with less invasive treatments like Botox, threads and fillers or go straight to surgical options like brow lift and blepharoplasty. I hope this helps, best of luck !

Answer: Non-Surgical Chemical Brow Lift for Eyelid Rejuvenation -- add Ultherapy, Thread Lifting, RF Skin Tightening, Laser Treatments As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. In some cases, surgery is the best solution to achieve the desired results. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Start with Injectables Based on the above photos, the amount of dermatochalasis (upper lid skin) is moderate to minimal and the amount of brow ptosis (sagging) is the same. You have very few resting wrinkles. The results that you desire can likely be achieved through injectables, although this admittedly will depend on the level of correction that you desire.

Answer: Upper eyelid blepharoplasty + endoscopic brow lift Hello! First of all thank you for your question. It looks like you have extra saggy skin on the upper eyelid and wrinkles around the eyes have started to show. I recommend you to get an upper eyelid + endoscopic brow lift surgery for a permanent result. I don't recommend botox or filler at that stage because it is not permanent. Of course you will have good results with filler as well, but complications may appear. And filler is something that you need to renew at least once a year. With endoscopic brow lift and upper eyelid surgery, the results last at least 10 years, even more if you have a healthy life-style.

Answer: Address signs of aging around the eyes From the photographs presented, you do not need a brow lift procedure, since the height of your eyebrows is acceptable. You do have asymmetrical eyelids, so just a conservative upper blepharoplasty procedure would be all that is recommended. An upper blepharoplasty procedure can be performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure. Botox is the best treatment for crows feet.
