I read that some doctor pre-treat patients with botox before endoscopic brow lift. Is the befit of botox in this case that the brow lift will heal better and the brows will settle higher? Can the botox be administered 2-3 weeks after the brow lift to have the same result and is it a good idea? Thank you!
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Brow lift: what you should know Thank you for your question. Since Botox can lift the brow, I would suggest waiting until after the brow lift surgery is performed so as not to hinder the results. Endoscopic brow lifts generally result in a refreshed and lifted appearance, so Botox treatments may or may not be necessary post-surgery. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to answer any questions you have about your procedure and help you decide on the best course of action.

Answer: Brow Lift Hello ! Thank you for your question There is no harm or benefit in having botox before and after the surgery, all kinds of areas are opened and the surgery is applied as a result of the stretching surgery that will occur in the eyebrows not the result of botox Thank you ! regards

Answer: Endoscopic brow lift Each plastic surgeon may have their own preference, but I prefer that a patient does not have Botox injected before. As you may be aware, Botox not only treats, wrinkles, and corrugator furrows (“11’s”) but it can also elevate the brow, and so this will render the preoperative measurements of how much to lift and account for asymmetries inaccurate. One can make an argument of injecting the corrugator muscles postoperatively to minimize the chance of the divided muscles reattaching to themselves leading to recurrence of the furrows. I hope this helps, best of luck !

Answer: Botox before or after a brow lift, which order is more beneficial In our practice, we do not perform an endoscopic brow lift for a variety of reasons. The coronal approach gives much better, and long-lasting results. With the coronal approach, you can adjust the hairline upwards or downwards, improve asymmetry of the eyebrows, and soften both the corrugator and frontalis muscles which helps with both horizontal and vertical expression lines in the forehead. Botox is usually not required after the surgery if the muscles have been correctly softened during the surgical procedure.
