7 months and face is still too narrow from masseter Botox (Photo)

Question

I had masseter botox 22.5 in each side 7 months ago and face is still narrow and jowly. My masseters were quite large and shrunk to allmost nothing in just a month after. I'm 41 and worried my jawline will stay looking like a skinny thumb. Everyone says its not permanent but the marionetter lines, narrow face and jowls are still here 7 monnths later. I thought about jaw filler but scared cuz i had volluma in medial cheeks and they dropped within 4 months and now look weird and doughy

The masseter volume will come back. In the mean time, I recommend removing your migrated filler. This will likely help the brain process the face. Bad volume has a way of messing with your perception of the face. That is something you have control over right now. The masseter volume may take a year to recover.

Botox effects are temporary and the masseters should slowly return to their previous appearance.  In the meantime you can consider Morpheus8 treatments to address overall skin tone and texture as well as fillers to improve facial contours.
