i have a big nose tip and never wanted to do surgery so the dr advised me with this injection ... I'm so worried after i read the side effects and need someone to calm me down

Answer: Kenalog Side Effects I think the other doctors that have commented thus far are 100% correct. There is no reason or indication for someone to suggest that you should have Kenalog injections into the tip of your nose to reduce the size of your nose. If you are considering this, please reconsider. Consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to give you all of your options, and chose which one is best for you carefully.

Answer: Kenalog injections to reduce the bulbous tip Kenalog injections are not used to reduce a cartilaginous bulbous tip. After the rhinoplasty procedure, Kenalog injections can be used to reduce swelling, edema, and scar tissue formation in the supratip area of the nose. Kenalog injections are only placed after the surgery, not before. To reduce the bulbous nasal tip requires suture techniques applied to the lower lateral cartilages of the nasal tip. Digital computer imaging would be helpful to understand what can be accomplished with your nose upon your patient features.
