Since the age of nine, I have had an ugly indentation on my cheek - near my nasolaboal line - caused by chicken pox. I am 28 today and eager to make it less visible. While only temporary, would a filler help? I have read about subcision, but since I am currently on Accutane I do not know whether this is an option for me.

Dark scars can be improved with a combination of Clear and Brilliant lasers, light chemical peels, and topical therapy with Melarase PM, Melarase AM, and Melapads. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
I would apply Plato's Scar Serum, followed by a combination of fractional laser, ematrix RF, fillers, and skin resurfacing. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
Wet to dry or Dry to dry dressings work well initially. I would recommend a plastic surgery eval to determine the best local wound care. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
