I got this scar in April 2023. It's gotten better since then but there's still pigmentation that has yet to return. I know hypopigmentation is a lot more difficult to treat than hyperpigmentation. I've tried many things and currently am doing red light therapy, micro-needling, silicone scar tape, and sometimes Latisse too. I have uvb wand as well but never really use it. I just am curious to know if there's anything I can do or just let time do its thing and hope for the best
Hi! I got a blepheroplasty 18 months ago and have been left with these very obvious white scars. They are flat on the inner corners and atrophic toward the outer edges of both eyelids. Im a bit bummed because my doctor told me the scars would be almost invisible, which is far from true. Im wondering if theres anything I can do to minimize their appearance. What can I expect realistically?
A little over a year ago I wanted a neck lift for a saggy turkey neck. Doc talked me into a Mac face lift buy afterwards my neck was still saggy. He then gave me a neck lift and (without asking) also some lipo. I believe These scars are the result of where the Lipo device went in. He said that the scars are fine because they are flat and I just need to get some sun. Can someone give me some advice? How do I minimize this look? Scar revision surgery? I have other white scars on the other side of my face too.
Three years ago I had reduction of my labia majora. At the time I asked the doctor to reduce my outer lips. After the procedure I noticed he also made an incision at the top to lift he said. I was unaware that he was going to do that and I am unhappy with the scar that it has left me. It stands out because it is a white scar. What can I do to get rid of this scar?
I had a small facelift following weightloss and it left me with a white scar (plus pixie ear deformity on one side). I gained and lost a large amount of weight again (pregnancy) so another lift would not be terrible. Would this help address the problem? I am planning on doing hair grafts on the top scar but unsure on what to do on the lower side.
Scar was result of the healing result of an infection ( necrosis?). It is not raised just white, unlike surrounding skin. On the bridge of nose and even more noticeable if my nose is red from irritation as the scar remains white. Do I have any options for correcting? Scar is around 7 years old.
I walked into a sharp object sticking out of a truck in a parking lot on May 17, 2023. The redness is gone but now I'm stuck with a large white scar. I know I won't ever be able to remove this scar but what can I do to help stimulate/regenerate the white skin area of the scar?
I've had some cold sore scars on my upper lip along my vermillion border (both sides) that I got from not letting the scabs heal completely. They've mostly turned white from loss of pigment, but when my lips are flush with blood (I'm very vascular/thin skinned) it looks worse. I've struggled a lot mentally with having the scars, it's kinda like a stamp on my face that I have HSV-1. What are my options? Would a tattoo work?
