I'm coming up with the widest range of recommendations from doctors between 4-10 hours. That's a tremendous discrepancy! Some insist 4 hours is enough time of action; others (plus patients) have said 4 hours is worthless and needs to be a minimum of 8 hours. What is the official directive from Mesoesthetic for Fitzpatrick type II? Thank you!

Cosmelan 2 is not orange. Something is wrong with your product! Cosmelan 1 is orange-ish and that's why we have people apply it in the office, keep it on for 8 hours, and then remove it at home - not for public consumption so to speak. Cosmelan 2 though is like a cream. It has no color to it...
I would wait before continuing more of the therapy to see if the differential in color resolves. In the meantime, apply Elevase Moisture Booster to help heal the skin. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
Treating PIH and melasma with cosmelan may make your skin hypersensitive. I would suggest Melarase creams and Elevase Moisture Booster as part of the post-treatment regimen to reduce redness and pigmentation risk.
