How soon can someone have a mommy makeover after miscarriage?

Hello, I just had a possible miscarriage (although undiagnosed) and it got me wondering about the safety of the mommy makeover procedure, I will be undergoing in two months time. The pregnancy would have been about 4 weeks along and was unplanned. Is it unsafe to undergo this procedure within that time frame? If so, what would a reasonable time frame be to reschedule? Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage.  If you are interested in continuing with your mommy makeover, the first step would be to prove that you are not pregnant. You can see your ob/gyn for this to obtain appropriate hormone testing (HCG-quants). Once negative, surgery would best be performed 6-8 weeks later in order for your body to fully return to its baseline.

If you believe that you were pregnant and had a spontaneous miscarriage, then you will want to be certain that you are no longer pregnant. This can be verified by obtaining a blood test known as an HCG level. Visit your gynecologist to discuss this with her and you should be able to proceed with your mommy makeover when the HCG level returns to normal.I hope that this helps.
