Hi ! I'm a 20 yo guy and I am really self conscious about my eyes and cheekbones as I'm looking quite tired and unnatractive in that particular area so I was wondering if a canthopexy and lower blepharoplasty would be appropriate to fix my tired look ? I am also thinking about radiesse injections in my jawline to make my face look wider. Best regards

Answer: Be very careful what you look for. If you search hard enough, someone will do whatever you ask. You do not need a lower blepharoplasty or a canthoplasty. I think you would benefit from under eye fillers in the form of Restylane. I personally do not like Radiesse for the simple reason that it can not be adjusted after it is injected if there is an issue. Instead, I think Perlane, which is a hyaluronic acid filler, is a much better option. It offers the same volume options, lasts longer, and can be adjusted with enzyme if there is an issue.

Answer: Improving lower lid and cheek area to look less tired Looking at your pictures, I would actually recommend using Radiesse in your lower lid and cheek area by an experienced surgeon. If it pleases you, when it goes away you can elect to have a more permanent result with fat transfer from an experienced surgeon.Wishing you all the best,Talmage Raine MD FACS
