Removing stitch marks from eyelid? (Photo)

Question

I'm 25 years old now. I have over muscles on my right eyelid right from the birth.. I met with an operation at the age of three. The doctor ensure that it would make my eye look normal as I grow up... But the stitch marks doesn't soften n d eyelid wrinkle doesn't form as I grow up.. Now I met some surgeons they said nothing could happen now. It will remain the same forever. Pls suggest if something can be done. Is there Any kind of surgery or any other treatment may cure it? N how much it cost?

You appear to have a matured scar over the area. Options for improving scar contractors include steroid injections, laser resurfacing and surgical options to remove the scar. An in person consultation will help further define your options.

It appears that your scar is firm, irregular, and more importantly, that your eyelid crease is not as well-defined as the other side.  I think a scar revision could help make the scar much less conspicuous, and potentially help redefine your lid crease to match your opposite side better. Looks like you had a congenital ptosis repair. The scar is fairly hard looking and irregular.  This can often be improved by either excising the scar, or doing some laser over the scar.  See an oculoplastic surgeon who has experience with this.

Although it is hard to tell what is happening from your photograph, it appears as if there is a mature scar on your eyelid as well as some loss of fat and maybe some residual ptosis.Scars can be revised by several methods. They can be excised and sutured closed again. Laser, IPL and microneedle can also be used.I recommend you see an experienced oculoplastic surgeon that has experience evaluate this for you.
