I am 5’3, 130-135 lbs, pre-op 34B, athletic build. Post-op 415cc silicone round smooth, under muscle, under breast incision. I had my surgery 6 days ago, and I am aware that they will drop and fluff... but I wanted other doctors opinions about what size it will bring me to? I wanted a D, but I’m worried I’ll be around a C. I understand it’s different when it comes to bra sizes and such, but want opinions from my pre/post op photos about what size I will actually be. Thank you
Answer: What size am I now? Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and congratulations on your early results. Unfortunately it is difficult to guess a future cup size as each bra manufacturer sizes differently. Assuming you have a narrow chest I would anticipate you to be at least in the D range. Answer: How big you are after surgery Your photos prior to surgery looks to be about an A+ cup. Your frame looks more like a 32 than a 34 size. You will have to be measured to be certain. If you are truly a 34 bra size then the number you need to remember is for every 175 cc you will increase your breast size by one cup. So if you do multiple of 175 cc then you can figure out how big you will be. So since you went 415 cc you should be around 2.4 cup sizes bigger than before. Of course at this early stage you are swollen and look to be a full D cup. I'll guess you will be slightly smaller after all the swelling goes down. By the way you have a very nice result no matter what the size and it matches well with your frame. Dr. Chu

It looks like you will have a very nice result once your implants settle. Don't get caught up on he cup size because it is such a subjective measurement. You may be a D in one brand and a C in another brand. The important thing is that you have a proportional and pleasing result which it looks as though you will. I think you will be very pleased when he implants settle.

I just saw a patient with 275 cc implants who was told she is a D cup at some bra shop. So whether you are a C, D or DD what matters is that the implants fit you, flatter your figure and make bathing suit/clothes more fun. The letter is only in the mind. Best wishes.
