So, here you can see my natural breast shape and then the under picture is 6 days post operation. Based on my pre-op, will I be able to get a nice cleavage? Like the one on the picture next to mine. I know it’s way too early, but at least does it look like something achievable for me? I have 375 ccs placed under the muscle, dual plane technique. Thank you in advance!
Answer: Breast Augmentation Result Thank you for your question. You appear to be very early in your healing process. How much cleavage you have depends primarily on your natural anatomy, and your preoperative photos indicate that your breasts sit a little far apart. Cleavage is also affected by how the implant pocket was created during your procedure. However at 6 days postoperatively, it is too early to judge your results. Your implants are also sitting relatively high, which is normal at this stage of healing. Once your breasts begin to drop and settle, your final results will become more apparent. I usually have my patients perform massage exercises to help this process. I recommend discussing any further concern with your surgeon . Best of luck with your recovery process.

Answer: BA results Dear califxrnia,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 6 days post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Cleavage They appear reasonable at this early phase of healing. Remember that when we go under the muscle we can only get them as close together as the width of your breast bone. It appears that is where you implants currently are. Once they soften, and you wear a bra like the one in the photo, the result should be similar.

Answer: You will have a cleavage when wearing a bra so focus on healing, following your surgeon's instructions, and avoiding any problems. You appear to have a nice early result. My patients employ massage and they often get the implants to touch medially.

Answer: Implants far apart? No, I don't believe they are. Sub muscular implants are limited in how far medial they can be placed. early on , they do seem a little far apart and then this stabilizes. You look like you have a great result. Best wishes,
