Can you have breast implants if you have naturally lumpy breasts?

Lumpy breasts will not have any significant adverse effect on your breast augmentation result. However, a photo or two may be helpful in determining which surgery would best give you the desired result you are looking for. The best course of action would be to schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination and a detailed discussion of your surgical options.

Lumpy breasts or a fibroadenoma shouldn’t prevent a breast augmentation, but it would be recommended for you to be reviewed by a breast surgeon/clinic (which may include further investigation such as an ultrasound) prior to your procedure. You could consider whether you would like the fibroadenoma excised at the time of surgery.Good luck with your treatment.

Thank you for the question.  Generally speaking, lesions such as cysts or fibroadeomas that have been worked up and found to be a benign  should not prohibit you from proceeding with breast augmentation surgery.
