I have a very small Chinese character on back of my neck. I went here in suburb of New Orleans to begin the process of the tattoo removal and they have the Picosure machine. Although I had a few blisters afterwards, I see no difference. Not even fading, the girl who did the procedure said for my first time she had to do it on a four setting. I am not sure that I should not see any improvement. This was three weeks ago. I feel by now, some of the particles of ink should have faded.

One of the best things about the PicoSure laser is that it works on all skin types/colors. Make sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon or cosmetic dermatologist to insure that you are an appropriate candidate. Best, Dr. Sheila Nazarian @drsheilanazarian
Thank you for your question. Yes, your tattoo can be removed with Picosure. However, it is recommended to wait at least 4-6 weeks after a new tattoo before having it removed as this allows your body to heal. It typically takes 6-9 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart to see 70-90% removal of a tattoo...
Laser tattoo removal with PicoSure only works on the surface of the skin. It doesn't penetrate the skin like radiation. So, there is no chance of blood clots or skin cancer. My best, Dr. Sheila Nazarian @drsheilanazarian on Instagram
