In June of 2018 I had microblading done after researching a local artist. I looked at pics of her work and met a few of her clients in person. Her work was great. Mine came out HORRIBLE!!!! It looked someone had stamped my eyebrows on. The shape was nice, but they were solid not natural looking at all. My journey is not complete, but wanted to share in hopes I could possibly help someone else. Updated on 4 Feb 2019: The laser treatment felt like i was being stung. The eyebrows are very sensitive area so it hurts. This is 24 hours after 1st laser treatment on July 19th. They’re was a lot of swelling, but only one very small blister. The blister was not big enough to show up in pictures. The swelling subsided in about 48 hours treatment.blister went away in about 5 days. Updated on 4 Feb 2019: First 2 pics are 6 weeks after 1st treatment and the day of 2nd treatment. Second treatment laser was stronger than Frye first one. I did not swell as bad, but did blister significantly. It took about 2 weeks for all blister, scans and dry skin to go away. Updated on 4 Feb 2019: 3rd laser treatment was 8 weeks after second. The swelling was insignificant. It was the same amount of pain as it was the first and second time. I had some blister and some scabs. It took about 2 weeks to heel completely, but the dry skin lasted about 3 weeks. Updated on 4 May 2019: 2 days post 5th laser removal. I did. It take pics of number 4 not sure why. It takes longer to heal with each session and is a bit more painful after each session. I have found a eyebrow growth serum that works great. I grow so much hair at the inner eyebrows you can barley see the microblading there. The ends of the eyebrow are still pretty thick and many more treatments. I am going g to wait longer between sessions this time. I do t want to have to worry about covering them up during the summer. I want to be able to enjoy being out in the sun. I will try an update at the 6 week healing point.
I have been getting Botox for years. I've tried many different places and I am so glad I found Dr. Pelias! My results were noticeably better when she did my Botox and her staff is always professional.
I went to have my PICO procedure and everything was fine. The laser was hotter than I thought it would be so I was a bit nervous about that as I thought I heard there was no heat. I waited anxiously and after a few days, I called the office to tell them that I saw no visible sign of change and they told me to wait. I called back a few days later and they still told me to wait. I asked it I could come in and they could just quickly look at it to give me their opinion and they did not have time for me. I quit calling but it has been almost two weeks and I have JUST THE SLIGHTEST of ANY FADING!!! No real noticeable difference! I still have to wear make up! Thus far, I am not sure if it is worth it! Updated on 11 Jun 2017: It has been two weeks since my second PICO treatment and I have new spots! I cannot believe it! I am so bummed out. I do not see much improvement from the second treatment either. Is it possible that I have skin that is just not going to improve? Help! Please!

My motivation was to lose my flap. Lol. After giving birth to my second child, I decided to improve my overall appearance. My surgery went great! Although, I suffered from extreme anxiety (pre and post). I did encounter minor complications but I'm recovering slowly but surely. I'm looking forward to my flatter and define tummy. I put off having Ultherapy for months. My dermatologist ran a special for 25% off so without reviewing the procedure at all I put down a deposit. Then I started reading reviews, talking to people to who said it was painful, etc. I almost backed out. But, I finally got up the courage and went ahead and had it done yesterday on my upper face (brow lift) First of all, the "pain" you'll hear about is laughable!! It was a walk in the park and my doctor treated me with the highest possible setting. She starts with the "worst" first, so once you realize that's the WORST it's going to get, you don't even FEEL the rest. It goes by so quick and initial results are IMMEDIATE. Yes, apparently even better results will show in the next three months, but I went in there with one eyebrow higher than the other and when I walked out 45 minutes later they were PERFECTLY EVEN. No further pain, no bruising, no redness even for me. There is no down time!! I feel silly for having freaked myself out and put this off for as long as I did worrying that it was going to hurt. It's a cake walk, it's so quick, and you will love the results.
In the past 5 months or so I have been going to see Dr Pelias because the left side of my face has been losing a lot more fat than the right side of my face .... Well with injectables Dr Pelias has been able to rebuild the left side of my face.... omg I am so happy when I look in the mirror now I just even express it in words there is nothing worse then to look at one's self in the mirror and not feel good about yourself... I will continue to go to Dr Pelias for all my procedures she is most wonderful. I was impressed at my consultation so much so I scheduled my tummy tuck. Dr. Pelias is very personable, kind with lovely bedside manners. The staff is very friendly and respectful. I was so happy with my results when I came home and I had only seen myself with garment on. I was sore but otherwise felt great. Dr. Pelias and staff do not hesitate to see you when you have a last minute question, concern, or emergency. They make you feel as if your the only patient they have, any and all questions addressed, and considered my suggestions as well. My only regret is that I didn't have it done a few years earlier. Thanks
I'm soooooo happy that I went to Dr. Pelias. Her and her staff makes me feel very comfortable, even though the procedure hurts a little bit and she is QUICK!!!!! I went for my second treatment on Jan. 11 and it didn't hurt as bad like the first time and I'm going for the third treatment on March 1. I'm getting about 5 treatments total. So far, the ink on my left ankle is disappearing quickly. I'm so excited that I'm getting this procedure done. I recommend anybody that is interested to remove a tattoo to go and see Dr. Pelias ASAP Updated on 30 Jan 2014: Forgot to show this picture Updated on 3 Apr 2014: I know I haven't been here on a while. So I'm getting my third treatment on April 5 (I had to reschedule). Updated on 3 Apr 2014: Below are the pictures from the 2nd treatment. I'll be getting my 3rd treatment on April 5 Updated on 3 Apr 2014: Pics Updated on 3 Apr 2014: Pics after a few hours of the 2nd treatment
So glad I had it done. I was told i shouldnt because i am 235 and only 5'2. I knew i wouldnt be skinny i just wanted to get rid of my big hanging apron. I went in to have my consult and Dr. Pelias and her staff was very helpful and informative. I have been turned downed by so many doctors because i am obese. But Dr. Pelias understand my grief and what i wanted accomplished. I am now 10 days post op and i am healing great. My drains were removed 6 days post op. Im still wearing my binder but i just ordered a fajas from ebay for $79. I will update wgen it gets in. Updated on 5 Nov 2013: Here are a few more pics. Updated on 5 Nov 2013: I woke up to a fever, chills and aches. My incision is opening up and its infected. The doctor said my drains came out too early and the fluid inside maybe infected. Waiting to get my antibiotics now. Updated on 6 Nov 2013: My drains came out on its own 5 or 6 days after my surgery. The left side, i knew would be fine b/c the output was less than 25cc/24 hour. But the right side was still putting out 50-60cc. So with that, i have a built up seroma that needed to be drained. My doctor drained it and i felt 100% better. There is some infection. Im taking bactrim and levofloavin.. the strong stuff. So she aspirated the seroma now my dressing is a big maxi pad to absorb the fluid. But the fluid is still building up on my right side, at least with the drains in place, the fluid was being drawn out. With this method, i feel like my belly is holding up a gallon jug. Not cute at all. Updated on 17 Jun 2014: It's been 8 months since my surgery and I do love that I look better in clothes but naked my stomach is not flat on one side. Its not symmetric. I feel like my surgeon should fix it but she says eventually it will flatten out. Idk...
Ulthera is great combined with fillers, Botox, and other modalities. It is safe and shouldn't compromise your results to have the Ulthera procedure one month after Botox or Fillers. You can do the procedure even sooner if your physician knows how to visualize the filler with the Ulthera ultrasound and avoid it.
We see eyebrow tattoo regret on a weekly basis at my office. Our best results have been combining Q switched 1064 (for the dark pigment) and Q switched 532 lasers (the red and pink leftover color) to remove the unwanted tattoo. Make sure that you go to an Doctor with plenty of experience as these tattoos are tricky to remove!
Hi - we love our Pico laser. It usually takes between 2-5 treatments to have a substantial effect. Less treatments for dark spots and pigmented lesions, and more treatments for refractory (hard to treat) melasma. For the melasma, we have to use very low settings to minimize an inflammatory response. Anti-aging effects can be seen in a couple of treatments.
Lip swelling this soon after Belotero is completely normal. At this stage cool packs are still helpful. After 48 hours you may find warm compresses beneficial. I cannot tell what the white spot is on your lip - you should call your Doctor's office if you are concerned.
I am not aware of any solution to your problem except for the passage of time. As you age your hands will get thinner and thinner. Most of my patients want fat injected into their hands. So, try to embrace the fat you hands have now....they will look great as you age.
