I fell hard down some slippery stairs 2-3 weeks ago, a 5 inch hematoma appeared along with a dent and impression. The bruising has healed, the pain is gone, but I have this hard area with the impression directly below. I didn’t notice how bad it was until I took photos. Will this heal on it’s own, should I consult with a general doctor or a plastic surgeon? If so, should I allow more time to heal before seeking more help? I’m only 23 and stressed about the appearance.
