Dear FutureDollMMXXI, Thanks for sharing your question if your desire is to take away all the possible extra fat you are a great candidate for a 360 Lipo + BBL + TT + Back lift in order to provide you better resuls, we can achieve 4 litters of fat or a bit more. Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Hope this helps and best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia.
Due to possibility of significant blood loss, patients who need multiple procedures should be carefully selected and their surgeries planed ahead of time. In your case, based on these photos and short of in person evaluation/discussion, I would suggest BBL first, followed with TT, breast lift, possibly breast augmentation. Instead of TT, lower body lift (belt lipectomy) should be considered? Excision of back folds should be done last. In person consultation with a plastic surgeon familiar with these procedures is recommended. Good luck.
Hello, thank you for your question.. If you decide to stage them, would recommend that you have the lipo, BBL and back lift first followed by the TT six months later. Fat can be harvested from the abdomen, sides, flanks, lower back, upper back, posterior neck, submental areas, jowls, arms, thighs, calves, ankles, buttocks, hips, kon those areas. Be sure to consult with board certified plastic surgeons who are experts in lipo and BBL.
Dear futuredollmmxxi,I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. These procedures must be divided in two sessions, six months apart, due to recovery and the time under anesthesia. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Hello, thank you for both your questions and your pics. Congratulations on your weight loss, however, the road to reconstruction is not as swift as you think. In general terms, I prefer not doing more than two procedures at a time. You can work your tummy tuck with liposuction Bbl in one procedure, but you would need to wait about a year to undergo the back lift so as to wait for the swelling to subside. You should not liposuction the areas where a flap is to be elevated in the same surgery, hence, if performing a tummy tuck, liposuction should not be performed on your abdominal area, and if performing a back lift, you should not liposuction on your back on that same surgery, this is to avoid damaging the subnormal plexus and creating necrosis.I do not condone performing a tummy tuck and a back lift at the same time, because it would imply adding tension to opposing vectors, chances are one of them (the back lift or the tummy tuck) will open up a bit under tension. My best advise is to take it step by step, allow your body to heal in between surgeries, that will minimize both the possibilities for complications, but also a better result all throughout. Look for different opinions with board certified surgeons, usually although every surgeon has his /her own approach, you will see a general consensus in the essence. Good luck with your procedure
Some surgeons may offer doing all of these procedures in one session but I would recommend splitting those into two surgeries.A wraparound tummy tuck a.k.a. body lift has enough issues alone with potential healing problems. adding aggressive Liposuction is not in the patient’s favor. My best guess is you’ll still have plenty of fat to do a BBL afterwards. I would focus on the most important procedure first which is a wraparound tummy tuck.Back lifts can be done in different ways. Some plastic surgeons would be apprehensive of adding a back lift especially if it’s extensive to be done at the same time as a body lift. Most likely your best approach is doing the body lift as the first procedure. This is the procedure that by far is going to give you the greatest improvements and is most important. The second procedure can include the BBL and the back lift.Different plastic surgeons have different levels of comfort when it comes to taking a risk and doing extended procedures. There’s a difference between can and should.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
