Does timing between 1st and 2nd treatments for SculpSure make a difference in terms of better results?

It doesn't really make a difference, the minimum time to wait is 4-6 weeks. Most people really do need two treatments to get visible results. We counsel all of our patients that they will need two treatments as its more thorough that way and satisfaction rates are much higher

The recommended time between sculpsure treatments is 6 to 8 weeks. One can wait even longer depending on one's schedule. It takes time for the dead fat cells to be flushed out of the body which is why 2 weeks is to soon to retreat.

As long as you wait at least 6 weeks between treatments, there should be no difference in results based on when the 2nd treatment occurs.  Two treatments is often necessary but in thin people, one treatment may be enough to get the result you are looking for.  

Since you are thin, it is reasonable to wait to see if a single treatment is sufficient for you. It does not make any difference when you have the second treatment as far as influencing the final result is concerned.  Treatments at six weeks or less are more of a convenience for patients, to get the treatment done sooner so they can see results sooner.  If you wanted to wait the full twelve weeks to decide if you want another treatments, that would not affect the final result.

I do not believe that the timing between the first and second SculpSure treatments would make a difference in the final results.  I would recommend waiting at least 4 weeks in between treatments, but waiting longer should not affect the ultimate result.  I have some patients that prefer to wait the 12 weeks to see their complete results and other that prefer to get to their goal as soon as possible, so they wait 4 weeks between treatments.  

It takes 3-6 months for final results with Sculpsure. Keep in mind, a combination of treatments is needed for best results with Sculpsure. I recommend combining Sculpsure with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. A VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal but would require more downtime. Final results can take up to twelve weeks because the body needs time to break up the destroyed fat cells and eliminate it through your lymphatic system.  With that said, the recommended time to wait between treatments to the same area for optimal results is 6 weeks.

The guideline from the clinical studies is to get the 2nd treatment no earlier than 6 weeks after the first treatment.  Our rule of thumb is to do the follow-on treatments 8 weeks or later.  I like to explain it like this.  The SculpSure laser will target the fat cells.  If the dead fat cells are still there (because you haven't given the body enough time to flush it), then the laser will be less effective to target new healthy fat cells because the dead fat cells will also be absorbing some of the laser energy.  This is the reason why you can't do 2 sessions back-to-back.  6-8 weeks is generally enough time for most people to flush the dead cells...hence this is the recommendation.  Of course, your mileage may vary because each body is different.  If you are not anxious and can wait the 12 weeks, there is no harm to waiting.

The timing of your SculpSure treatments does not affect your end results. We typically recommend scheduling your treatments 6-8 weeks apart because most patients need more than one treatment and area anxious to have their final results as quickly as possible. If you want to wait and see whether or not you are satisfied after just one treatment, definitely do so. If you'd like to have another treatment down the line, you can schedule it at any time.
