Which procedure would be better to get rid of a double chin? (Photo)

I Don't know which would be best for me. I'm confused if sculpture, coolsculpting, vanquish, kybella, or zerona would work for me. Is it possible to combine two of these procedures for greater results? I Don't know which to choose.

The best non invasive way to minimize submental fat is with sculpsure. Kybella treatments are painful with a lot of swelling and bruising and may take up to 3 treatments. Coolsculpting , in my opinion, does not achieve as good a result as the new sculpsure applicator for the neck. The best results are with liposuction using microcannulas and can be performed under local anesthesia.

Thanks for your question and photos. There are a few options available that could potentially correct a double chin and define facial features. Non invasive solutions include Kybella and laser treatments, which in my opinion have less than optimal results. Surgical option would be liposculpture of the areas of concern and complimenting that with a small chin implant for a more defined jaw line and profile. Best to get an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss individual procedures that suit you.

My favorite procedure is Precision laser assisted liposuction of the neck, because it is fast, definitive and helps shrink the skin.  Loose skin would not be a problem for you, but for some patients it is beneficial to be able to shrink the skin as well as remove fat from the neck.Another good alternative is Kybella, which usually takes several treatments.  This involves injection of a fat-dissolving enzyme under the skin.  It is quite successful, but you have to wait a while until the fat is absorbed.  It is also accompanied by some swelling and mild discomfort during the first week.

I find that VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and needs to be combined with thermage/ultherapy/exilis or coolsculpting for good results. The available methods to reduce a double chin would include CoolSculpting, Kybella and liposuction.  Liposuction can normally produce the most improvement in one session, Kybella normally requires multiple treatment sessions and CoolSculpting frequently needs more than one session to obtain the desired result.     All of these options can produce improvement so it is just a matter of cost and time.

Thanks for your question. I find that my patients get the best results for submental (double chin) fat reduction when combining treatments. While there are many treatments to reduce submental fat, I concentrate on making the whole area look tighter, smoother and more lifted.
