I'm 4 months post-op and I was told by my surgeon that there isn't a chance my ears would stick out more if they're pulled. Would pulling or bending the ears at this time effect my aesthetic result?

If your surgeon said that these sutures are dissolvable, they should have dissolved well before 7 months. I suggest you see your surgeon to make sure that they are in fact dissolvable.
