I have been told that I have a depressed bridge by all the opticians that fit me for eye wear. Can a rhinoplasty address this problem by "building up" the bridge so that the glasses sit higher up where they ideally should be? Should I be looking at a rhinoplasty with this specific concern in mind or should I just accept that even with a rhinoplasty, my glasses will just sit lower on my face?

Answer: Rhinoplasty and glasses You don’t want to change your nose to fit the glasses. On the contrary, the glasses are usually adjusted to fit the nose. Having said that, dorsal augmentation can absolutely be a part of rhinoplasty surgery if the main goal is cosmetic improvement of the nose. If you think that your bridge is too low and would like to make it higher for cosmetic reasons and not for the reason because opticians told you that it would fit your glasses better, then you should consider it.

Answer: Bridge augmentation Hello, Yes, a bridge height can be augmented with a rhinoplasty, but you should consider this will give a big change in the shape of your nose. If you have considered a rhinoplasty, you can address both issues on a single procedure.
