I know that asymmetry is normal and everyone has it to some degree. This is something that's always bothered me. What fillers would be suggested to even out the 2 sides of my face?

This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. While perfect symmetry is impossible to obtain, dermal fillers can balance your facial features by increasing volume as needed to create a supple and harmonious result. For more a long-term solution, you can also consider facial liposuction or buccal fat removal to promote symmetry and achieve a well-defined jawline contour. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon or expert injector. Subtle asymmetry on the face is natural in the human body. In my opinion and experience, beauty is not perfect symmetry but rather towards symmetry, balance, and proportion among the different areas of our face. An accurate "static" and "dynamic" facial assessment, along with a bespoke treatment using dermal fillers, can address your concerns, reduce asymmetry, and achieve a natural and fresh-looking result.

My approach involves a very detailed assessment of the face as a whole unit, analyzing the upper, middle, and lower face, including the jawline and neck area, from both sides and different views, and using bespoke treatment with dermal fillers. The above approach with dermal fillers in the right place/layer can address your concerns and achieve balance and proportion among the different areas (i.e., cheeks, mid-face, jawlines, lips, and chin) in your face with a natural-looking result.

Several fillers are available; however, in my opinion and based on my experience, the most important factors are the technique, the experience of the doctor, and the quality of the product (e.g., Juvederm, Restylane, Teosyal, etc.).

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your face. Every single individual on this planet is lacking symmetry in both sides of the face. The celebrities know it very well, and that is why they usually pose with their most photogenic side of the face. The same applies to the body. Symmetry simply does not exist in nature. I think you should enjoy your natural beauty and enjoy life to the fullest without paying attention to the little details especially the ones that are concerned with your appearance.
