How long does the swelling takes to completely come down after dissolving eyelid fillers?

I’m considering having fat graft to upper lid and under eyes so I need to dissolve the fillers in those areas first. How long will the swelling takes to come down to be able to determine how much fat to inject? Thanks.

We would expect that most of the swelling and filler should dissolve within a few days. If you have residual filler, you may need more reversal.

Hello !

It can take up to 2 weeks. Sometimes, a few sessions are needed and it is possible that some of the filler cannot be fully dissolved. However, fillers don’t always need to be dissolved before fat transfer.
Of course, an “in person” exam is necessary.

It is best to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon expert in aesthetics.

You should see the majority of the impact from dissolving filler after a day or two.  Final results are seen after two weeks.  Always be sure to see an experienced injector for optimal results.
