I had aggressive vaser lipo 6 weeks ago on abdominal 360, flanks and inner thighs. Still in burning like pain and bulging hard as rock areas. I also had BBL and fat transfer to hips. I don't see any difference. (6 Liters of Fat removed per surgeon) in addition, below breast is swollen (around rib) and very painful. Will pain get better, bulging hard areas will subside? had 4 c-section prior. Please advise. Also, surgery was done in Istanbul, Turkey and no physician in US wants to take me. How do I proceed to know if this is normal or its complications that needs follow up.
Answer: 6 weeks pos-op Vaser Lipo and BBL Thank you so much for share with us your concern and photos. I’m really sorry to read that you are unsatisfied with one of your result but right now you are in a healing process, it's normal to have this kind of pain, you need to be patient and do the post-op care that your surgeon sure gave you. You should contact your Surgeon for all your concerns and after the healing process (4 months) you are still unsatisfied with the results I recommend to contact a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area and he/ she can help you to address your goals. Best of luck! Dr. Quiroz

Answer: 6 weeks post op aggressive Vaser Lipo and BBL. Will the pain get better and bulging hard areas subside? (photos) Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation, discomfort and irregularities are normal. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)

Answer: Arguments for not traveling for surgical procedures. I continue to encourage patients to not travel for elective surgical procedures. People do not appreciate the importance of before and after care, the complications actually do happen as well as the number of people who are in need of revision surgery. Your surgeon is responsible for your aftercare. He or she is the one who took your money. There is no surgeon in the United States who has an obligation to take care of you at this point. Do you after care is the more undesirable and time-consuming part of the procedure which is included in the surgeons cost. This is especially true for those who have undesirable outcomes. Your options at this point are pretty simple. Wait six months until your results are final then start from the beginning with a new consultation for revision liposuction with or without a BBL. alternatively contact your provider in turkey or fly there for follow up visits. Answer: Body contouring this is why we don't advocate having surgery in international areas as now you have no recourse but to go back for follow up. Photos very difficult to interpret because your B and A results seem to be reversed. Based on your pictures, you are an excellent candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). The optimal BBL outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or Facetime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
