3 days post-op I banged my right butt hard. Did this cause fat cells to die? (photo)

Question

3 days BBL postop, I accidentally banged right butt on my washing machine. It hurt alot but it was a brief instant. I touched the area and it was sore. The area that got hit was where the 2nd bottom mole is on my butt and above it is a slight impress where there are brown marks/lines. I touched the area and felt tiny flat bubble on that mole, above it is tiny indent barely noticeable (brown marks). Did the 'bump or hit' cause some sort of damage to the fat cells?

it is unlikely that you did some damage to your results. I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a BBL surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides  you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.

Probably not.  I guess anything is possible, but I suspect that the only thing that may occur is a little bit of bruising and swelling. Follow-up with your PS to determine if any damage was done.

Yes, technically trauma to an area can cause fat cells to die or the soft tissue to atrophy. I am not sure hitting your buttocks on the washing machine is enough trauma to do so. Definitely talk to your PS.

Thank you for your question. It is very unlikely that this incident did anything to jeopardize the graft. It tends to be more sustained pressure on the graft for longer periods of time that could cause problems. Hope this helps.
