I’ve been doing my homework on some procedures, I’ve gotten my smile lines/ nasalabial folds and tear troughs filled with juvederm they did help but I hated how puffy my face looked. I really want a smoother more lifted look of my cheeks because they look like they’re being weighed down and the nasal labial folds themselves look very thick and fatty. I notice when I press down on the folds they flatten and fill the hallow areas, what is the best procedure

Answer: Improving Nasolabial Folds & Eyes- Lasers. Fraxel/Clear + Brilliant, RF like VIVA, Peels, Fillers, Skin Care, Face Lift, Fat A combination approach will give the most improvement. I recommend fillers for under the eyes and for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments, J Plasma and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Fillers Hello,Thank you for your question. It sounds like you would benefit from a filler like Voluma in your later cheeks. This will giv eyou the lift you desire while also pulling out the NL folds. We tend to use a softer product under the eyes, like Restylane Silk. It is imperative that you consult with a local physician to determine the best course of action.Good luck! Like one

Answer: Tear trough, cheek & nasolabial folds Thanks for your question and posting photos. I will recommend to start with small amount of volumising dermal for the cheeks, this will help to minimise the tear trough and nasolabial fold immediately. Thereafter, I will assess the need of soft filler for the tear trough and nasolabial fold improvement.

Answer: Treating the tear troughs and nasolabial folds with filler Thanks for sharing your excellent question and photos. You are a good candidate for treatment with dermal filler. Restylane could be injected into the undereyes to help improve the appearance of the tear troughs, smoothen the eyelid cheek junction, and reduce dark circles. A thicker hyaluronic acid based filler like Restylane Lyft or a collagen stimulating filler like Sculptra could be used to add volume to midface which would lift the face and also indirectly soften the nasolabial folds. Finally, if needed, one of the newer generation flexible gel HA fillers like Restylane Refyne or Restylane Defyne could be injected directly into your nasolabial folds.
