Thanks for your question. Usually PDO mono threads placed more superficially than Silhouette soft. It will be a good combination to have both together and usually waiting 2-3 months after the mono is quite good time.
Silhouette instalift sutures are quite effective in achieving mid and lower face lift and skin tightening by repositioning the fat using the cones placed on the sutures plus the collagen stimulation. There are few factors which might affect the final results, mainly age, skin thickness, skin health, skin laxity and fat amount under skin. It is very important to have a consultation with an expert doctor.
Dear Joanne, thanks for your question. It will be a good idea to have cheek filler to achieve slight and natural lower face lift and jowls. In regards tear trough, I will be very careful in treating this area specially in your case as you have lower eyelid puffiness and sometimes adding fillers around tear trough might exacerbate the puffiness.
Thanks for your question. It is possible to have swelling for 2 weeks, though it should be resolving and improving. Massaging the area should improve the lumpiness to a certain extent, however if the filler was injected superficially or large amount was used then it is better to dissolve it to achieve a softer and smoother look.
Thanks for your question and photos. It quite normal to have some puckering post silhouette soft threads, this might take up to 2 weeks to subside. Soreness also is very normal after the procedure, you can take paracetamol tablets and it should get better in couple of days. Please follow the after care instructions as advised by your surgeon. It is advisable to contact your surgeon if the pain is getting worse.
