Is this lateral displacement? I am only 6 months post op.
Answer: Implants You don't appear to have a lot of tissue and did choose large implants for your frame, so yes, they will move to the sides, especially when laying down. Natural breasts do shift to the sides when laying down. Your lateral pockets could be tightened, but you may need the internal bra with mesh to help keep them there.

Answer: Lateral displacement Dear Nice667613, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Lateral displacement Thank you for your question. It does appear that your implants are sliding laterally. This could be either because the breast pocket is too large for the implant, or naturally, with a submuscular implant placement the implant will tend to be pushed out, laterally and downwards. If it severely bothers you, you can consider a revision with a capsulorrapthy and possible an internal bra mesh placement. Good luck.
