In-office scar tissue removal with local anesthetic? (Photo)

I got a septorhinoplasty a year ago and the tip of my nose is bigger than before and the surgeon says he can do an in-office procedure to cut out some of the tissue from the tip of my nose using only local anesthesia. I haven’t heard of this but he says it’s easy. From what I’ve read, the removal of scar tissue is anything but easy abs typically involves a revision surgery lasting hours. Is what he’s saying normal? He also says he can do steroid injections but that he’s very against them.
