Rhinoplasty revision needed? Hi all, so I got a rhinoplasty a year ago that required my ear cartilage. I had the tip done and rounded out my nostrils. However, the shape of my nose is still not as round but more triangular shape. The doctor said a revision can be done that is less invasive as the first. He said he would harvest cartilage from the roof of my mouth for this bc it is a stronger cartilage to hold shape of nostrils. Can't find this procedure anywhere is my concern.

I appreciate your question, but I would need to see at least a few photos before making any type of recommendation. I will caution you that revision surgery can be even more complex than the initial procedure due to loss of structural support, scar tissue, and other issues. Make sure you are working with a very experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who has the skill and expertise to perform this procedure correctly for you.
